Don’t throw away your old cardboard boxes - make something cool with them and show us what you‘ve done! Why upload a picture of your big scary monster, alien spaceship, or super fast car?

Keep hold of old burger boxes, tissue boxes or shoe boxes – any size or shape will do. You could even ask your local supermarket for BIG boxes! These will provide the main part of what you make…

Then find old egg cartons, cotton wool buds and drinks bottles to make the detailed bits – just paint them nicely and stick them on. It’s really easy!

Tips

  • Cut out egg carton cups, paint them white and put a black dot in the middle to make monster goggle eyes.
  • Cut strips of white paper into the shape of big blades of grass to make scary monster teeth.
  • Use toothpaste boxes for monster arms and legs.
  • Empty lemonade bottles make great rocket boosters for spaceships.
  • Sheets of tin foil make the perfect spaceship covering.
  • Don't forget to ask an adult to help you with the tricky bits!
